Loyalhanna Review 2017 Guidelines


Guidelines: Prose, Poetry, and Art Submissions for the 2017 Loyalhanna Review will be accepted electronically between February 1 and May 1, 2017.  One prose piece, short story, or essay, no longer than 1,800 words, or up to three poems of any length, and or various artworks may be emailed following these rules.

E-mail SUBJECT LINE: Your Last Name and First Initial. LR Submission

Please send all entries as individual attachments to a single email.

Cover Letter (in the body of the email) must contain:

1) Complete contact info: your name, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address

2) Brief bio (40 words maximum)

3) Permission statements (Copy from below and INSERT TITLES)

Statement of Permission to Publish in 2017 Edition

In your cover letter, include the following statement of permission to publish:

I grant permission to the Ligonier Valley Writers to use (INSERT ALL TITLES HERE) until December 31, 2018 for both the print and online editions.  I retain all copyrights.



(If you desire your work to remain online, please include next statement.)

I further grant permission to the Ligonier Valley Writers to use my work listed in the statement above for online archival purposes until I rescind this permission.  I retain all copyrights.
