At the publication party, we announced a new award to honor Ruth for bringing us such a wonderful magazine for the past 21 years.

For the Ruth McDonald Fan Favorite Award, we’re inviting you all to vote for your favorite item in the 2024 Loyalhanna Review. The author or artist of the item receiving the most votes will receive a $50 honorarium. Just make your choice and email Rebe Dunn the title of your favorite piece, whether prose, poetry, or art. Email RebeD1020@gmail.com by August 3.

If you donated toward printing costs, you’ll receive two copies of the magazine in the mail. If you weren’t able to attend the publication party and haven’t seen the new Review, contact me or Ruth (RMCD1997@aol.com) to find out where to pick up a copy near you. Or read it right here in our archives.

We’ll announce the winner of the Ruth McDonald Fan Favorite Award at the picnic on Aug 11. We’ll also send a press release to the media and an email to our Members & Friends list.
